Deakin Sanctuary Scholarships
The Deakin Sanctuary Scholarship Program helps remove financial barriers for students seeking asylum or from refugee backgrounds residing in Australia.
It includes:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- $6,000 annual stipend for living and study expenses
- Access to English language support through the Deakin University English Language Institute (as needed)
- A tailored transition program before Orientation Week
- Case management and referrals to student support services
- Academic mentorship and professional development opportunities
- Potential for casual employment within Deakin University
